DESCRIPCIÓN DEL CURSO: “Ver significa abrir los ojos y mirar al mundo exterior. También se puede ver al cerrar los ojos, mirando el mundo interior. Sin embargo, creo que lo mejor es cerrar un ojo para mirar hacia adentro, mientras abres el otro y ves lo que está sucediendo en el mundo exterior”, Max Ernst.

El taller se propone potenciar la mirada de cada participante y su habilidad de utilizar el medio fotográfico para perderse y hacer que algo desconocido aparezca durante el proceso creativo. Semanalmente analizaremos el trabajo de fotógrafos contemporáneos que han desafiado las lógicas de la fotografía tradicional, introduciendo otras maneras de ver y contar la realidad. A través del análisis de fotografías y películas, los participantes serán estimulados a reflexionar sobre su mirada para así tener más claridad y fortaleza a la hora de emprender nuevos proyectos fotográficos. Cada participante trabajará también en una nueva serie o una serie empezada anteriormente y no terminada. Durante todo el taller, también analizaremos y reflexionaremos sobre nuevas narrativas que incorporen audio e imágenes en movimiento para ampliar el alcance y efectividad de los relatos visuales. El taller desafiará al participante a perderse, romper límites y aprender a ver 𐆑y verse𐆑 de forma distinta, con y sin cámara.

METODOLOGÍA: Las clases se llevarán a cabo con exposiciones orales de Viviana acompañadas por la proyección de imágenes y reportajes fotográficos realizados en diferentes países. Habrá tareas semanales que los participantes llevarán a cabo individualmente con el fin de aplicar las nociones explicadas en clase por Viviana y desarrollar un lenguaje fotográfico personal. Todas las tareas hechas por los participantes serán analizadas en clase con el fin de revisar lo aprendido y aclarar eventuales dudas. Al terminar el taller, el participante entregará un trabajo final en la forma de una serie fotográfica que resulte innovadora, visualmente estimulante y para nada literal. EL TALLER SE LLEVARÁ A CABO DE FORMA VIRTUAL.

In the workshops I took with Viviana I discovered something new about photography; it is not only about writing with light, as always mentioned for the chemical phenomenon. You also need to dance with the light, because, from the right position depends the right image. Where do I stand? This question, which I hear with Viviana's Italian voice in my mind, marks the rhythm of the dance with light. In this dance, the steps cannot be thought, because as Viviana taught me, the image is felt like love: in the whole body and spirit.
