Hybrid Amazonas
Hybrid Amazonas is a visual exploration of a remote region of Colombia where different stages of colonization have created a hybrid culture made of religious syncretism and magical mixtures. An immense territory that has long lost its virginity and reinvented itself under the influence of those who were arriving to its ports with much more than commercial loads. A corner of Colombia where on a daily basis man faces a powerful and uncontrolled nature that would like to regain what it has lost centuries ago; a world that seems to live suspended in an eternal and disarming precariousness. A hybrid, impure, slow and fascinating Amazonas.
